Field Services

When you combine Chicago Equine high quality care and advanced diagnostic capabilities with increased accessibility and affordable healthcare, you get Chicago Equine Field Service.  Our Field Service Associates are on the road, providing quality care to horses where they live.  From lameness exams to vaccines, hock injections to 24-hour emergency care, our associates are highly trained and accessible to you at the farm.   In the field we have portable advanced imaging such as digital radiography and ultrasound to aid in the accurate diagnosis of our equine patients. Generally, if the procedure does not require the horses to be placed under general anesthesia, it can be done in the field.  Patients whose conditions are not treatable in the field can be referred to our hospital for further treatment.
